Roland Elmer Roth passed away peacefully in his home, surrounded by his family August 10. He was 87 years young at the time of his passing. Roland never let anything like age or disease keep him from doing what he loved, which was taking care of his family and his farm.
Howard Christ Kautz, 81, Fairmont, MN and formerly of Truman, MN and Cavalier, ND, died as a result of complications of Alzheimer’s Disease, including congestive heart failure, on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 in Fairmont. Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 16 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Truman. Visitation was from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Monday, August 15 at Zaharia Family Funeral Home, Truman and one hour before the service at the church on Tuesday. Burial with military honors was held at Ridgelawn Memorial Park cemetery, Truman, immediately following the service.
