March is National Agriculture Month while National Ag day is March 21 during Agriculture Week National Ag Day was founded by the Agriculture Council of America in 1973 to promote agriculture and the first National Ag day was celebrated in 1979 in Washington DC.

Friesz celebrates 2000th career point

Two thousand points is a goal that most high school basketball players dream of; however, for Flasher senior Javin Friesz, it became his reality. During a regional qualifier game on Feb 27, the star player hit his 2,000th career point in overtime against the South Heart Eagles. Unofficially, only 37 individuals have reached 2,000 points in ND class B basketball history.
