Starting courthouse careers

Aimee White and Carmen Erhardt-Fitchner have joined Grant County Auditor/Treasurer Sara Meier as deputy auditor/treasurers in the Grant County courthouse, to help handle the myriad of duties, ranging from the upcoming general election to handling county funds.

ELECTION deadlines near

The Grant County auditor’s office had received 759 mail ballots as of last week, as the office conducts the Nov. 3 general election as a mail ballot election with two physical polling locations on Election Day. In Grant County, 1,191 mail ballots were requested by voters through the application process. Comparatively, 890 total ballots were cast in the June primary election, according to Auditor/Treasurer Sara Meier.
