SWA Board approves no rate increases in 2024
Southwest Water Authority (SWA) is pleased to announce there will be no anticipated increases in water rates next year. After conducting a comprehensive financial analysis and strategic budgeting, SWA’s Board of Directors voted to maintain the current water rates, demonstrating their commitment to providing reliable, safe, and affordable water to residents in southwest North Dakota. To help stabilize rates, SWA will use some of its existing reserves to cover additional expenses in the next fiscal year, including the state’s cost of living and operational increases. SWA will maintain financial stability while absorbing projected operational cost increases.
