Roosevelt School invited grandparents to celebrate Grandparents Day on Friday, September 8th. Each grade read a poem surrounded by grandparents. After the program, students enjoyed bingo and cookies with their loved ones!

The average American reads twelve books per year, with fifteen minutes of daily reading. However, in some communities in Grant County, books are hard to find. Movie rentals are at our fingertips, but book rentals are not. The North Dakota State Library has found a simple solution. From the Institute of Museum and Library Services, a book vending machine can be found at A&S Country Market in Carson.
