Plant construction continues in Regent
Central Dakota Frontier Cooperative continues with construction of a new dry fertilizer plant in Regent, with plans to complete the facility by October. The plant, which will be located on Main Street, will replace an outdated facility built in 1976, according to Austin Musland, agronomy manager for Central Dakota Frontier Cooperative.
“We were getting to the point where we either had to replace all the equipment that was in our old shed or build a new one,” he said. “The new facility is going to be about two-and-a-half times bigger than our old one, so just that capacity is going to help save us a lot of time and make it more efficient.”
