Diede Kapsch

Diede Kapsch, 74, Bismarck, died on November 30, 2022.

A memorial service was held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, December 9 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 504 N., 4th St, Bismarck.

Visitation was held from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. with a prayer service starting at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, December 8 at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Parkway, Bismarck.

Dietrich was born on March 21, 1948 in Elgin ND, the son of Jacob and Dorothy (Bartels) Kapsch. He grew up and attended schools in Elgin. Following graduation from Elgin High School he earned a mechanics degree from Wahpeton and a heating and air degree from Bismarck Junior College. On November 25, 1977 he married Lyn Seelye in Bismarck, they had three children.

He owned and operated Diede’s Heating and Air in Bismarck. He had a great mechanical gift and could design, build or improve upon anything. He was very family oriented and loved time spent with his grandchildren and his dogs.

Diede is survived by his children, Kyle (Kelly), Bismarck, Kaysi (Jess Lawler) Kapsch, Bismarck; grandchildren, Benjamin and Zander Kapsch; sisters Helena Roth, Elgin, Laverne (Elmer) Zimmerman, Athol, Idaho, Marcy (Alroy) Hochhalter, New Leipzig; mother- in-law, Lois Seelye, Bismarck; sister-in-law, Debb (Mick) Scharosch, Bismarck and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Lyn; his son, Ryan; infant brother, Lester Kapsch and father-in-law, Del Seelye. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Central Dakota Humane Society, 2104 37th St, Mandan, North Dakota, 58554.
