With an innate sister sense, Sophie and Emma Olsonawski could set a nearly impenetrable defensive trap on the basketball court.
It’s been years since we bought eggs in a store. Because I am reluctant to cull our older hens, nor do I put a light in the coop, we don’t get many eggs in winter.
It feels like the world is encompassed in a sheet of polished ice. Everywhere we look and certainly everywhere we step is glistening with the slippery substance just waiting to take us down.

After a week on the road, the New England Tigers boys basketball team returned to their home court for two games last week, first against Beulah Jan. 17, then the Tigers ended the week Jan.

The New England Lady Tigers went on a three-game winning streak last week, defeating Beach, 57-39, Hazen, 44-37, and New Salem-Almont, 46-34.
