Beach High Homecoming

Posted

Students and staff at Beach High School have been working hard preparing for their 2026 Homecoming. But before any of the festivities can begin, the homecoming court needs to make their debut to the community.
The senior, junior, sophomore and freshman classes at Beach High School each selected one boy and one girl from the senior class to represent their classes in the homecoming court. Additionally, the football and volleyball teams each selected one boy and one girl to represent their sport.
Meet the 2026 Beach High School Homecoming Court.
The candidates are as follows: Senior class - Sawyer Noll and Harley Feiring; junior class - Lucas Brown and Andrea Bosserman; sophomore class - Bennett Braden and Aubrie Dykins; freshman class - Isaiah Dobbs and Nyxie Northrop; football and volleyball teams - Kirby Dietz and Taya Feldmann.
Many events are lined up for the big weekend, including coronation, a dance and a parade.
The crowning of the Beach High School 2026 Homecoming king and queen will take place on Sept. 28 at 2:45 p.m. in the gymnasium.
At 2:45 p.m. on Oct. 2, the Homecoming Parade will commence, with the king and queen riding down Central Avenue on their Homecoming float.
The king and queen will also be recognized at the home games that week. On Oct. 1 before the Lady Buc’s A-Squad plays Hettinger-Scranton at 4:30 p.m., the king and queen will stand for photos on the court. They’ll also be recognized at halftime at the 6 p.m. Oct. 2 football game against Richardton-Taylor.
After the football game, the Homecoming Dance will start at 9 p.m. in the Blue Building at the Golden Valley County Fairgrounds. Hosted by the Golden Valley County FFA Alumni Chapter, it is open to 7-12th grade students in Beach, Golva, Wibaux and Medora. Entry is free.
During Homecoming week, students will be decorating the halls of Beach High School, celebrating their sports teams. Read more about that in an upcoming Buccaneer Buzz article.
