Dakota Community Bank & Trust donates funds to Grant County School
Pictured above is Dakota Community Bank & Trust of New Leipzig Branch President, Ryan Roth, presenting Grant County High School Principal Terry Bentz with a check for $21,385.00. The funds will be used to purchase 15 MacBook laptop computers and 15 iPad devices. “We are so appreciative of the support we have received from the bank. They have been huge supporters of our school,” explained Bentz. With a very uncertain future, it is the long-term goal of the school to assign each student a computer the first day of school to make distance learning an easier transition. “We don’t quite have enough for every student at this point, but we’re getting closer and wouldn’t be this close to our goal without the help of our local banks stepping up to partner with us,” Bentz continued.
