City approves adjusted valuations

The Elgin City Council held its tax equalization hearing for Elgin city residents April 4, approving adjustments on 15 different properties. Valuations increased on three commercial properties and decreased on three commercial properties. Among the residential properties were three decreases and six increases in value.
