Several false alarms in Elgin have prompted the first reading of an ordinance which would fine excessive false alarms.

“Click It or Ticket” is being taken more seriously in not only Grant County, but across the state. On August 1, the state of North Dakota passed a law mandating the use of seat belts for all occupants in a vehicle, regardless of where they are sitting.

City project nearly complete after nightmare challenges

A city street and infrastructure project that should be completed by Oct. 20 came with some challenges this summer, particularly with an abnormal amount of rainfall.
