South 40 Beef breaks ground near Mott
With plans to complete the facility by March 1, dirt is moving at the future site of South 40 Beef near Mott.
Owners John and Kim Roswech and invited dignitaries put silver shovels into the ground during a ceremony Sept. 30 and work on the site began shortly after.
“We’re standing right now at the future site of South 40 Beef, which will be a 5,000-square-foot-plus state-of-the-art beef processing plant,” John Roswech told the gathered crowd under a tent withstanding strong North Dakota winds during the ceremony. “Everyone who was invited today has been a big part of what we’re trying to accomplish here and I just cannot say thank you enough to everybody.”
