Rivinius earns a trip to National Science Fair
Halle Rivinius was one of the eight Grant County High School students to go on to the North Dakota State Science Fair, which was held in Grand Forks, April 3 - April 5.
Halle went to state with her project “Fat Content in Snack Foods,” where she won first place ISEF in her region and a chance to compete at Nationals in Phoenix, Arizona in May.
Halle also won two individual awards in special category; first in Food Science and first in Food Quality.
“It was very exciting to go to the state science fair, where there were over 100 other people competing. It’s one of the highlights of my year,” she exclaimed.
