History in the hallways

Jacobson Memorial Hospital Care Center (JMHCC) is commemorating local history by displaying several historical photos in its hallways. A project intending to decorate the facility with historical art now includes the first eight photos in the hallway leading to the lab and radiology departments from the Elgin Community Clinic in the lower level of the facility. “We wanted to continue our local connection

“We wanted to continue our local connection with the communities we serve and decorate our newly renovated hallways with some historical art,” explains JMHCC CEO Theo Stoller. Photos were enlarged to 3- and 2-foot widths for display.

The photos are from the collection of local historian Patrick Diehl, the Grant County Historical Society and the State Historical Society of North Dakota.
