Grant County Soil Conservation District honors Paul Family
Daniel and Tresa Paul along with their family were honored last November at the North Dakota Association of Soil Conservation District Convention where they were presented with a framed picture of their farmstead and attended a banquet to honor all Achievement winners from across the state. The farm photos along with family photos were projected on two overhead full-size screens while a narrative of the family’s conservation achievements was announced. On March 5, the Grant County Soil Conservation District presented the rest of the story at the 20th Annual Grant County Ag Day in New Leipzig.
Around 24 years ago, Tresa and Daniel began their adventure by first renting their farm. In 1995, they purchased the farm because they decided that it was where they wanted to raise their family. The Paul Ranch is located about 25 miles south of Carson right in the middle of a huge expanse of native prairie, pastures and hay land, an ideal place for wildlife and cattle.
