Grant County FBLA competes at Nationals
In April, eight members of the Grant County FBLA qualified for the National Leadership Conference. On June 27, these members traveled to San Antonio, Texas to compete in their events and attend conference activities along with 13,000 other FBLA members. At the conference, there were FBLA members from across the U.S. and from other countries such as China, Haiti, and Tanzania.
For the middle level, the three members took written tests. Anna Schatz competed in Career Exploration and Eli Friesz competed in Business Math & Financial Literacy. Kayedenn Rivinius won first place in Digital Citizenship. He received a medallion and $200 cash prize.
In the high school, four of the members competed in written tests. Jonathon Bogert competed in Introduction to Business Procedures. Ashlei Stancyzk competed in Organizational Leadership and Bryce Mutschelknaus competed in Computer Problem Solving. Laura Muggli won sixth place in her event, Introduction to Financial Math. Rayman Zimmerman gave a presentation for the contest Electronic Career Portfolio.
