For the Beauty of Hettinger wraps up another beautiful year
For an entire summer, volunteers with the For the Beauty of Hettinger organization have been watering flower baskets, maintaining Centennial Park, and pruning trees along Hettinger’s Main Street. By watering plants, mowing grass, and weeding weeds, the organization has worked to make Hettinger a more beautiful place.
“The goal of the organization is to beautify the community of Hettinger,” said Kerri Howard, Vice President of For the Beauty of Hettinger. “It’s a fairly broad goal. Generally, it has been done through trees, plants, and flowers, but that’s not to say that wouldn’t take on other beautifying projects later on that are not plant related.”
