JMHCC COVID-19 testing results in all negatives
Jacobson Memorial Hospital Care Center (JMHCC) has completed testing of all staff and patient/residents for COVID-19 on Monday, June 8, and all tests were negative.
With no positive cases within the facility, JMHCC moved toward reopening the facility to visitors on June 15, with some restrictions still in place.
General visitation will still be limited. Patients/residents will be limited to two visitors per patient/resident at a time. Visitors will still be screened, masked and use hand sanitizer before entering the facility at the front entrance and will be limited to resident rooms while visiting. Day passes for residents will still not be allowed. “
The JMHCC clinics in Elgin, Glen Ullin and Richardton will continue to be open to all patients, with screening of patients at the receptionist desk, as in the past. Clinic patients will not be required to wear a mask unless they have respiratory issues or a provider asks them to wear a mask. Masks will still be provided at the clinic entrance for patients who wish to wear a mask during their clinic visit.
